The Village at Providence Point—A National Lutheran Community coming to Annapolis, invites you to join our charter bus group to enjoy a delicious luncheon at Libbey’s Coastal Kitchen at Bay Bridge Marina. Afterward, we’ll meet Jay in his studio, Jay Fleming Photography, in Stevensville, Maryland.
Jay Fleming learned to shoot images from his father — a former National Geographic photographer. He’s built his career documenting the wildlife and working waterways of the Atlantic coast, particularly Smith and Tangier Islands in the Chesapeake Bay. His photos display a rare intimacy and artistry, and his books “Working the Water” and “Island Life” offer immersive portrayals of coastal communities and ecosystems.
