As A National Lutheran Community, The Village at Providence Point is a not-for-profit organization, which means all of our financial resources are invested in our seniors and the communities where we live and work. Because we don’t owe anything to shareholders, we are able to focus solely on our mission:

NLCS honors, inspires and supports choice and opportunity in partnership with older adults.

WHAT DOES THIS LOOK LIKE IN PRACTICE?

• INVESTMENTS IN RESIDENTS: Because seniors living in our community are the only reason we exist, our focus is on you, not on ROI. While not-for-profit organizations do need to make money to operate, the money you spend with us is directly invested in the maintenance and operations of our community. After paying for overhead, our financial resources are here to serve you—through programming, exciting events, and upgraded amenities. Consider our on-campus dining options – our chefs prepare meals from scratch using only the freshest of ingredients, many of which are sourced locally.
  
• INVESTMENTS IN OUR TEAM: Since our community is not driven by profit and don’t face the pressure of meeting a high return on investment, we are mission-driven, and we prioritize ethics, quality, and social responsibility. For our residents, that means our community is built around service. We are here to enable you to explore more, do more, and live more fully. To achieve this, we promote a culture of hospitality among our team, so we invest in the best people with bright attitudes and go-getter personalities. We also recruit incredibly skilled talent for our health care services to make sure you have the best of care, in addition to the finest service.
  
• INVESTMENTS IN THE COMMUNITY: Annapolis is our home. It’s a great place to retire, but it’s also a great place to live and work, raise a family, and build a life for yourself. We love it here, so we’re proud that as a nonprofit organization with a philanthropic arm, we are able to support other organizations and causes in Annapolis and the surrounding communities. This being Annapolis, we have a particular passion around veterans causes.
