New roadwork work on Spa Road is scheduled to begin June 22 as part of The Village at Providence Point construction project.
Crews will raise sections of Spa Road that currently dip below grade to bring the roadway into conformance with the new senior living community's site plans. Work hours are scheduled for weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The project is expected to take approximately 7–8 weeks.
Spa Road will remain open during construction. Motorists should expect periodic single-lane closures and lane shifts to the shoulder. Traffic control signage and crew members will be in place throughout the project.
Upon completion, the work will result in permanent improvements to this portion of Spa Road south of Forest Drive adjacent to the community. The Village at Providence Point thanks the community for its patience during construction.
